Omkareshwar towering over me as we travelled across the river in unstable, motorised gondola styled boats, before trekking to the top to pray in a sacred temple
This cheeky little monkey decided that our hand fed bananas weren’t enough for his appetite. He decided to safe keep his bunch of bananas from us, and hopped down to steal more from the local vendor, before returning with his treasure to the safety of the roof.
I named her Bessie but I think she’s more of a Priya. After our trek back down to the banks of the river. Don’t mind my swaggy sunglasses + hiking boots + binid look.

Through the looking glass (marble panes) towards the expansive courtyard and the exquisitely designed mosque. To this day, I’m in awe.

My summer was so perfect. I immersed myself in my heritage and learnt so much about myself, my culture and the heritage I’m so blessed to possess. India, life me on to your majestic back and let me ride through the intricate history and culture that makes me who I am.
